Photos: John Mayer Visits Walter Reed (Washington, DC)
The below thank you to John was posted along with these pictures on Musicians On Call’s Flickr page:
“Thank you to John Mayer for spending a few hours with us as he toured Walter Reed Hospital and spoke with wounded warriors, family members and hospital staff.
And, a special thank you to the incredible team at Walter Reed! These service members have given so much and we thank you for allowing Musicians On Call to visit on a weekly basis and to be a ray of light in their lives. The music makes such a difference to these soldiers and continues to generate an overwhelmingly positive response. We’re so happy to be a part of your healing program. ”

I have John on my mind so I thought I’d stop by. I think about him a lot. I have this fantasy, that I will meet John one day and… well. I’m waiting for him, because yes taking off your clothes and having sex is easy, for some but not me. I only expose myself with the one person I want to share my soul with. So I wait.
I’m loving this… as a military spouse I’m really proud that he got involved with a cause like this. I know the mixed feelings that come with a family member returning home and I know how much the mental aspect is underrated. Every soldier that comes back has changed, and that change can be hard to adjust to. And I’m so happy that this aspect is getting some attention through him.
:-)
:-))
These are great pictures. I bet he heard a lot of interesting stories even in the face of trauma. I feel really proud. John you’re it. You’re great! And you’re kinda cute too. ;-)
