I got to hear the entire song and it’s beautiful! The lyrics… I almost died when John says, in the song that he was “picking up the pieces.” Ahhh. Anyway, it’s just beautiful.
The song was posted at John’s site, too. Just in case you can’t or don’t want to downloaded. The site has a new layout, by the way.

@Chris, I kind of agree, but on the other hand, John has made it very clear in the past that he doesn’t really care if his music is downloaded, as long as it’s heard.
I’m surprised at some of the reactions on Facebook… people seem to be surprised that his new stuff has a country sound to it… I thought he’d made that very clear a long time ago!
I’m having trouble downloading the song. I will keep trying or I’ll just wait until I can buy the album. I’m sure the entire song is good because the first 60 seconds was. A lot of info today. The tour and John’s charity. I am so impressed with John’s work with veterans. I have done a lot of work with the veterans in downtown LA. I do a lot of work with people suffering with PTSD. I hope John is enjoying the success of his first single. I’m gonna check out where John is playing and hopefully I will get to see him.
I don’t know if it’s right to post a download link to his song. Even though it’s tempting and would be awesome, as true fans we should support him as an artist and be the ones who wait to buy it.
