John Mayer spent Saturday at the Presidio in San Francisco visiting with returning combat veterans from Operation Iraqi/Enduring Freedom.
John Mayer is passionate about spreading information on the issues and challenges veterans face upon returning home after combat.
Speaking to the veteran’s John Mayer reaffirmed his commitment.
“I will do everything I can in my power to change and re-frame the attitude of what it means to be a returning vet,” he said.
The previous day, John posted this link on Twitter — NCIRE: The Veteran’s Health Research Institute.
(A link which you should OF COURSE check out because you don’t have to be a celebrity to make a difference!!)
Later, John posted a (VERY, VERY SEXY) picture of himself hanging out with “San Fran’s finest” which I’ve posted below.
Lesson I learned from John?
You can be incredibly sexy and do good deeds, too!!
What????

John,
Thank you for signing the journal encouraging our Veterans to get their thoughts out through writing. This will be going out in the South Bay Blue Star Moms holiday boxes to their loved ones who will not be able to make it home this year.
That is 160 moleskin journals with your message. The other chapters of the Blue Star Moms hope to get journals too.
This is a great holiday gift from you directly to our troops.
Thanks so much for your support and — from the Vets here is SF– we look forward to seeing you again.
